Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slower and more meditative practice that targets your deep connective tissues (fascia), ligaments, joints and bones.

 

In Yin Yoga we delve deep by holding poses for longer periods of time to help lengthen those rarely used connective tissues. Our aim is to experience the physical sensations of the body. Due to its slower pace, it gives you an opportunity to turn inward and tune into both your mind and breath and seek that body awareness.

 

To experience the delights of Yin Yoga, I provide the props so your body is fully supported so you will have the opportunity to slow down and relax to promote that stillness the body craves.
